Hi, I am Rachel Wilkinson!

Rachel Wilkinson is a therapist at Fearlessly Authentic Psychology who works with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, focusing on executive functioning, anxiety, and skills that actually work.

My Story

I am Rachel Wilkinson. If you have had a hard time finding skills that actually work with your unique mind, you are not alone. Many of my clients feel frustrated that traditional strategies do not stick, or that their executive functioning gives their anxiety even more anxiety. In therapy, I focus on finding creative, tailored tools that fit you instead of trying to squeeze you into a box.

I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients. I honor the many ways that culture, ethnicity, body, ability, and life experience shape who we are. My approach is collaborative and affirming. I see you as the expert on your own life, and I bring curiosity, clinical knowledge, and creativity to help you make sense of what you are going through.

Together we work on building skills that actually work for your brain, easing shame and self-criticism, and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside. Therapy with me is about feeling seen, understood, and supported as you move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. See my Psychology Today Page!

Personal Life

Outside of the therapy room, I am a human who also moves through the ups and downs of life, and that very much shapes how I show up with clients. I know what it is like to juggle responsibilities, relationships, and emotional energy, and I value spaces where we can show up as our full selves, even when things feel messy or complicated.

I care about creativity, curiosity, and connection in my personal life. You might find me with a good book, exploring a new hobby, or enjoying small grounding rituals like a favorite drink, time outside, or music that fits my mood. I am committed to ongoing learning around neurodivergence, gender and sexuality, culture, and systemic oppression, and I regularly reflect on my own perspectives so I can offer therapy with openness and humility.

All of these pieces of my life support the way I practice. When you work with me, you are meeting someone who believes in your capacity to grow, respects the many layers that make you who you are, and feels genuinely honored to walk with you for part of your journey.

The Mission of the Practice

Our mission is to promote the practice of living authentically by empowering clinicians to create individualized treatment plans that foster a growth-oriented mindset. We believe that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all; each person’s story, strengths, and struggles are unique, and their care should reflect that.

Founded by Dr. Kimberly Garrison, Fearlessly Authentic Psychology was built on the belief that people deserve more than symptom checklists and quick fixes; they deserve to be truly seen, supported, and challenged in ways that honor who they are. As Clinical Director, Dr. Garrison models this work by combining deep clinical expertise with a direct, compassionate style, and by mentoring clinicians to do the same.

At Fearlessly Authentic Psychology, we support clinicians in using evidence-based tools, deep self-awareness, and genuine connection to help clients move toward lives that feel more aligned with who they truly are. This means honoring each person’s values, identities, and lived experiences while also challenging the patterns that keep them stuck. We strive to create a professional home where therapists feel supported, resourced, and encouraged to grow; because when clinicians thrive, clients benefit.

We believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling, meaningful life, and we are committed to providing the tools, guidance, and community necessary to make that a reality. Join us, and Dr. Garrison, in our mission to live authentically, cultivate resilience, and embrace personal growth; for ourselves, our clients, and the communities we serve.
