Hi, I am Lila Coil!
My Story
Hi, I am Lila Coil, MA, LPCC, ATR-P. I support adults and children who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or a deep longing to feel more confident and capable. Many of the people I work with identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, trauma survivors, highly sensitive, or are grieving the loss of someone important. If that feels familiar, we may be a good fit.
In therapy, my goal is to help you build confidence in your strengths and learn skills that actually feel useful in your daily life. I offer a supportive and welcoming space where you do not have to hide the parts of yourself that feel messy or uncertain. I also pay attention to the real impact that family, relationships, work, culture, and society can have on your mental health.
My approach is collaborative and creative. I offer DBT-informed art therapy, talk therapy, somatic work, and mindfulness techniques. I also enjoy working with dreams, whether they are dreams you had last night or long-term dreams and goals. You do not need to be an artist to benefit from art therapy. We simply use imagery and creativity as another way to explore and express your experience.
I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy at Naropa University and have personal experience with the power of art in healing. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and intersections of identity and would be honored to see if we might be a good fit to do this work together.

Personal Life
Outside of therapy, I am someone who values connection, creativity, and time to slow down. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, friends, and family. Being with people I care about helps me stay grounded and reminds me why support and community are so important.
I also have a deep love for art and the natural world. In my free time, you might find me painting, going on nature walks, or traveling when I get the chance. I am interested in astrology and enjoy the sense of reflection and meaning it can bring. Every now and then, I will catch a yoga class as a way to reconnect with my body and breath.
These parts of my life are not separate from how I work as a therapist. Creativity, curiosity, and presence are values I carry with me into the therapy room. When you sit with me, you are meeting someone who believes in your capacity to grow, who respects your unique story, and who truly wants to support you in building a life that feels more like your own.
The Mission of the Practice
Our mission is to promote the practice of living authentically by empowering clinicians to create individualized treatment plans that foster a growth-oriented mindset. We believe that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all; each person’s story, strengths, and struggles are unique, and their care should reflect that.
Founded by Dr. Kimberly Garrison, Fearlessly Authentic Psychology was built on the belief that people deserve more than symptom checklists and quick fixes; they deserve to be truly seen, supported, and challenged in ways that honor who they are. As Clinical Director, Dr. Garrison models this work by combining deep clinical expertise with a direct, compassionate style, and by mentoring clinicians to do the same.
At Fearlessly Authentic Psychology, we support clinicians in using evidence-based tools, deep self-awareness, and genuine connection to help clients move toward lives that feel more aligned with who they truly are. This means honoring each person’s values, identities, and lived experiences while also challenging the patterns that keep them stuck. We strive to create a professional home where therapists feel supported, resourced, and encouraged to grow; because when clinicians thrive, clients benefit.
We believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling, meaningful life, and we are committed to providing the tools, guidance, and community necessary to make that a reality. Join us, and Dr. Garrison, in our mission to live authentically, cultivate resilience, and embrace personal growth; for ourselves, our clients, and the communities we serve.
